  • "The kitchen was clean enough & well equipped, I was happy with that."

The living area floor downstairs was dirty under the couch when I moved it to another position to see TV better. The upstairs was disappointing, very dirty walls, and doors badly in need of paint. The bed itself was comfortable enough but the bed linen was pilled, rough feeling & in my opinion needed renewing.

Thank you for your feedback, which we are always grateful to receive. We are glad that you found the kitchen clean and well equipped. We have a professional team of cleaners who go in to the property before and after each stay, who clean thoroughly to a very high standard. And as you attested to the kitchen was clean enough. I am surprised that you found dirt under the couch, but I will raise this with our cleaning team and request to check the photos of the property that they take before each check in. With reference to your comments regarding upstairs being disappointing with very dirty walls, I visited the property immediately after your stay and saw no evidence of dirt on the walls. The walls were painted at the beginning of this year, they may have a few scuffs but sadly without painting after every stay, this is unavoidable. I’m glad that you found the bed comfortable, but saddened that you found the freshly laundered bed linen ‘pilled, rough feeling and in need of renewing’ – again this bed linen was new at the start of the season so I am confused how you found it to be so worn. I would just also like to say that I reach out to all guests upon initial booking, just prior to their stay and I also leave contact details in the welcome booklet within the property. Had you messaged with any of these concerns, myself or my cleaning team would have returned to the property to deal with any concerns you may have had. However, I heard nothing from you during your stay, so assumed all was well. I am saddened I was not given an opportunity to deal with any issues privately, as it is my nature to do all I can to ensure our guests have a pleasant and memorable stay. I understand you thought it better to simply say nothing for the duration of your stay and then compose this review. Property Owner

  • "A lovely very well equipped holiday home."

Lovely decor throughout. We both felt very relaxed from the moment we walked through the door. Owner was very prompt in answering our emails and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Very handy for the beach too.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback and also for all your lovely communication before, during and after your stay. It was a pleasure to host you and I am thrilled you enjoyed your time at our holiday home. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Thanks again. Property Owner
