  • "Such a special cottage."

    Well equipped, very clean and well presented. Julie and Richard were very friendly and welcoming. Spent a lovely, relaxing week at the cottage (as a family of 5). The property is just north of Haverfordwest so is a great location to drive anywhere in Pembrokeshire. We popped down to Pembroke, Tenby and across to Whitesands and St.Davids. The onsite fishing pond was an added bonus, as was the hot tub. Would highly recommend staying at the cottage. (Visiting the Pump on the Green pub, a 5 min drive up the road, or going for a walk around Llys-y-Fran are both good ideas as well).

  • "This stay was disappointing as the general appearance of the place was looking tiered and in need of TLC especially the bushes needed trimming around the entrance door and the patio furniture should have been cleaned and the floor brushed as it was covered in rose petals and dust."

    The lid of the hot tub was damaged and slightly difficult to close. Getting to the recycling we had to get past bushes and overgrown prickly roses so not encouraging. I don't know when Sykes last inspected but the paper work all seems to be from 2023. The toilet broke while we were there and we gave permission for the owners to go in to repair it only for us to return to find the front door wide open with all our belongings in there. Jule the owner was. very friendly and has obviously had a hard year but I think improvements are needed. The Clove was a perfect location for visiting Pembrokeshire.

  • "We had a lovely weekend."

    The house is very comfortable, warm and inviting and the setting is nothing short of idyllic. It was so peaceful and we even had wild rabbits playing in front of the house. I loved everything about it.

  • "The Clove is a lovely property in a really quiet and peaceful location but also close to a range of amenities."

    We enjoyed watching plenty of rabbits and birds in the grounds, and we really enjoyed the hottub. Also the hosts are lovely. They are friendly and helpful, but not intrusive, and leave you to enjoy your stay. I would be happy to stay again.

  • "Amazing property absolutely adored it my children loved it!"

    The hot tub was so clean and so comfortable after being out all day and the views across the fields in the morning was beautiful owners were on hand with what ever we needed and sorted out quickly anything that needed to be sorted it felt like a home from home I hope to return definitely! Also we all had the best sleep there which we don’t normally have when staying somewhere we literally didn’t want to leave. Thank you for having us
