"Needed a decent bottle opener and one or two chairs that were not as low as the others"
-
"The accommodation is excellent, though we would recommend a little remedial work on the settee!"
Outside furniture would be appreciated by guests staying in warmer months. All members of our party expressed a desire to return, even the almost-four-year-old.

"Fantastic stay again"
-
"We found the cottage and views breathtaking The secluded area, sounds of the river and the local wildlife made for a very relaxing holiday."
The interior decor was good and clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. For the owners: can't fault the accommodation but additions that could improve over time: outdoor furniture- to see the views, instruction books for cookers & heating, sofa needs looking at, paint on downstairs bedroom & upstairs shower room ceiling is flaking

"The cottage has superb all round 360 degree views of the stunning scenery."
The patio outside would have allowed us to enjoy the views further if patio furniture had been provided. Unfortunately the sofa in the living room was uncomfortable to use in the evenings as we had to plump it up with additional seat cushions. We would advise that it takes 20 minutes drive to Pitlochry so this needs to be added on your travelling time when visiting attractions in the area and buying essential provisions. The access road within the estate although tarmacked over a significant distance, the last stretch before the cottage has a steep incline of short rough track. The road from Pitlochry has some single track sections with no passing places- so beware! Other than this we thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cottage - and we were rewarded luckily with superb weather!

"Amazing property and would recommend anyone who would like an ‘away from it all’ holiday."
Only sounds you’ll hear will be the lovely river, sheep and birds. Absolute heaven! Not really a negative but would have liked more info on the house particularly the use and availability of water! Fully enclosed for larger dogs. Our goldie loved it ! Many thanks

"We had a lovely restful and peaceful stay at the Crannoch, all very clean and comfortable with pretty much everything for our needs provided for."
You’ll need to take all provisions for food and cooking with you and no welcome pack provided. The photos don’t really give you a sense of of how beautiful the setting is, the views from all windows and sitting on the patio are fabulous, although no patio furniture provided which was a shame, if you like solitude and quiet you’ll love it. Our dogs had a great time in the enclosed garden and short walk out to the river. There are lots of local walks and great places to visit within easy driving distance, we will be booking again. Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage.

"A real gem!"
Definitely a lucky find for us. Exactly what we needed to "get away from it all". Thankyou.

"Thank you for the high quality property in a splendid location"

"The property was fantastic."
We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend to those who are looking to stay somewhere with amazing views and peace and quiet. The property is about a 20-30minute drive from the nearest shop but that drive is beautiful so if you don’t mind being out of the way a bit this is the ideal place. Fully enclosed garden so your dogs can enjoy a run around but if you’re taking them a walk along the beautiful country road then please do keep them on the lead. Lots of sheep, cows and wildlife around. We enjoyed our on lead walks in the evening and even managed down to the river for a swim. The house itself is well laid out, clean and modern and the perfect home away from home to make family memories. We loved this place so much we have booked for a winter weekend break and a summer holiday again next year. One of the best holiday homes we have ever been to!
