Perfect location - private and quiet but within easy walking distance of everything beautiful Aldeburgh has to offer. Our small chihuahua lovely the enclosed garden. We all felt very at home and relaxed in this lovely home.

The property
Nestled into the quaint seaside town of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, and within easy reach of local amenities and attractions, Sea Thrift Cottage is perfect for a family or two couples to explore the seaside of Suffolk.
Follow a lane off the main road and find yourself at this wonderful white painted cottage, making yourself at home in the sitting area, with a woodburning stove settled into a traditional fireplace, tiled flooring and a selection of sofas, this is a great spot for relaxing with a good book.
When mealtimes call, the designated chef will simply love the kitchen/diner, with duck egg cupboards, French windows and ample amenities, it is both light and airy, a great place for guests to cook together.
As the evening wears on, enjoy a refreshing shower before cosying up in one of the two bedrooms, a double with seaside paintings and a king-size with homely décor and storage.
Outside there is a lovely little garden where breakfast can be had in the sunshine.
Aldeburgh is a fantastic seaside location with a lot on offer for guests, beginning with the local museum and historic town hall, or you can enjoy a morning browsing the contents of independent shops and trying out local produce, before settling down for a pub lunch with a glass of your favourite beverage.
Walks along the pebble beach are a must, with beautiful coastal views which can be enjoyed with a picnic, or you can get closer to the water and try out kayaking or wild swimming!
Walks can be enjoyed at the Snape path and Haven Nature Reserve, and for more history, head over to the close by village of Orford, where Orford Castle can be explored.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
