  • "There are few places to escape from today’s busy world and Cobbler’s Cottage is one of them."

Set in the most tranquil, really delightful environment and yet only a short distance from Bungay, this is a perfect spot for peace and quiet. Down a pretty lane and surrounded by nature with fabulous walks on and into what was a part of the great author of King Solomon Mines, Rider Haggard’s estate. Such care has been taken to make our stay with our little dog Bumble, so comfortably charming. The goodies generously provided for both ourselves and Bumble were most appreciated. For young families a games room at the bottom of the garden was a terrific bonus - air hockey and table football was great fun for our visiting grandchildren. We will be visiting again and probably again & again. The immediate environment has so much to offer and enjoy. Our hosts were at pains to ensure all was as it should be to make our stay memorable, and it certainly was!

  • "Really enjoyed our stay at Cobblers Cottage."

We felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door, and throughout our stay. The walks on the doorstep are beautiful (even if the cows did block the way through one of the gates!), and we enjoyed the many dog-friendly beaches just 30 minutes drive away. The garden was exactly what I was looking for with the dog and could not belive how quiet and peaceful the place was at nighttime. We will definitely be back again!

Thank you for lovely feedback, you’re welcome anytime. The peace and quiet of location has always been very popular. Thanks Gary and Tara Property Owner

Excellent in all ways. Can thoroughly recommend even though we were only a short stay. N B Best pub to eat in the evening is The Fleece.

  • "Perfect cottage for a relaxing break with my two sons and dog."

Homely and well equipped (I appreciated boot racks, stair gates). Lovely garden and games room to keep the kids happy. Comfy beds. Great location for shady or sunny dog walks. Within easy distance from supermarket. Only took 30mins to get to Walberswick for crabbing and sandcastles. Definitely want to go back and take my husband next time!

Thank you for such lovely feedback, glad you had a good stay . Hopefully see you again soon . Gary & Tara Property Owner
