Excellent location, but the cottage was disappointing.

It had a strong damp, musty smell, especially in the wardrobes, so we kept our clothes in our suitcases. The kitchen towels also smelled and were unusable. The property and garden are in need of some TLC, and overall we felt it was overpriced for the standard offered.

Overall, the house was good.

It was quite basic, but perfectly adequate for a four-day stay. The only issue was that one bathroom/toilet was not enough for six people. In addition, the house felt quite damp and musty. We had to air it out when we arrived. Apart from that, the furnishings and facilities were sufficient. The house was also well located if you were planning to visit the Isle of Skye.
