Cute little cottage with really nice hosts living nearby.

Everything you need is provided, we especially loved the large towels and the books in the reading nook (including some local literature). We enjoyed the view, sitting at the kitchen table and watching the little visitors (rabbits in the garden). The garden was beautiful and you can also watch yellow bumblebees. It also comes with the charm of an old cottage (love that) - you need to mind your head, floorboards are squeaking at some places and the living room is telling tales of long winter nights (the couches are very cosy, it’s difficult to get up again). If you are not in the mood for driving, you can take a walk to Keose Glebe estate with a nice viewpoint and a picnic table (approximately 6 km in total). The play park is two minutes walk away and does also have amazing views, especially at sunset.

Just back from Spending a week at Beech Cottage.

What a beautiful place this was, fantastic views, easy to get to, only 20 min drive from Stornaway, perfect location to start your adventures from. The cottage itself was immaculate, it had everything you could need. Beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. Sitting in the kitchen and looking out to a great view was bliss
