What guests are saying
We loved our stay at Driftwood, it is a perfect home from home, very comfortable & well equipped witrh everything you need.
The setting is even more beautiful than we expected, we had very mixed weather, very strong winds some heavy rain & luckily some sunshine too. As the house is so close to the sea it is wonderful to watch the ever changing light & weather, the night skies were spectacular. We took our spotting scope & tripod with us and were very lucky to see an adult otter and two cubs playing & squabbling over fish they had caught in the water & on the rocks in front of the house. Lovely days on Eriskay beach & nice to see the Eriskay ponies. Great trip up to North Uist to the fantastic Kallin Shellfish where we bought the best lobster ever. All in all a wonderful holiday, would highly recommend & would love to return. Also thank you to the owner for their kind help when needed, much appreciated.
A fabulous house, with gorgeous views of sea and moor from every side.
Warm and cosy in the windy weather, well appointed kitchen, very comfy beds and delightful, helpful hosts. We had the best time.
Driftwood is beautiful, with magnificent views from the double-height living area, including local seals.
We loved the location close to the Eriskay causeway but also convenient for grocery shopping. The property is very well appointed, modern and everything is easy to use and find. It is spotless and even luxurious. Michael is a helpful host. A great base for exploring South Uist.
