"An absolutely amazing property, a beautiful house with everything we could possibly need for a wonderful stay!"
The hosts were friendly and welcoming giving helpful local recommendations and proving wine, popcorn along with local eggs, milk and cakeon our arrival. We really felt at home as did our dog with a cosy bed and a stack of towels and throws. Without doubt the best accommodation and hosting we have experienced!
Thank you Carole for your superb review. We enjoyed sharing The Old Byre with you and your friends. We enjoy meeting our guests and providing those little memorable extras. Look forward to seeing you again. Property Owner

"This has to be THE most comfortable well facilitated cottage we have ever stayed in, we couldn't have wanted for more."
Nora and Martin are on hand at all times if any help was needed. The cottage is beautiful and a true home from home. We felt relaxed as soon as we walked in the door and there is truly everything you could need for a cottage stay and enough games to play for months let alone a week. The attention to the small things is what sets this apart from other self catering cottages from pans, plates, cutlery, spices, more mugs than I've ever seen and more equipment for cooking than we have at home, towels a lovely welcome pack and they went beyond to provide for our twin toddler grandsons. Compared to some places we have stayed where there is just enough for the amount of people staying The Old Byre is streets ahead. If only all holiday let's were this good. Thank you Nora and Martin keep up the great work.
Dear Len and family Thank you so much for your fantastic review. We are so pleased to share The Old Byre Woodfalls with you and all it's facilities, and glad you enjoyed it's relaxing atmosphere and location. We hope to see you all again soon. Property Owner

"Dear Martin and Nora, We wanted to express our thanks for the incredible experience we had at Old Byre."
Your home provided the perfect sanctuary for us to unwind, recharge, and escape the stresses of everyday life. We’ve traveled the UK for 17 years, and without a doubt, our stay at Old Byre was the most exceptional and memorable. The unique charm of the property, coupled with your warm hospitality, created an unforgettable experience. Thank you for your kindness, and for answering all of our questions about the local area. Your genuine care for our well-being and for Harley made us feel truly at home. We hope to return to Old Byre in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

"This is a place that I and my family would return to and recommend to others."
The owners have set it up as a home from home, there is pretty much everything that you will need provided for your stay. The location is ideally located to discover both sides of the Solent. The hosts are very approachable and happy to help with any questions. We managed to wear out our two spaniels while walking in the local area.

"Thank you Nora and Martin for having the house so homely."
We had everything we needed, it had every little detail. It's a great location, Mollie, the horse said hello every morning :) I greatly enjoyed having a coffee in the mornings looking at the cows and the stunning views. Nora was amazing, she even got a hat for my daughter on our last day. She loved wearing it at Windsor Castle on our way back home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes nature and comfort.
Thank you so much for your super review.. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and your daughter loved her hat! Nature and Comfort is what it's all about! Property Owner

"Nora and Martin had thought of everything."
The house was immaculate comfortable and extremely well equipped. The welcome pack thoughtful and imaginative right down to cake and birthday napkins (for my husband’s birthday). Everything was new and well thought about. The view from the house was lovely. We spent most meals outside and the only rainy day we spent in Salisbury cathedral. We loved the walks locally and enjoyed drinks and food in the Goat in Downton. We would definitely like to come back.
Thank you for your super feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed The Old Byre and surrounding area. See you again soon! Property Owner

The Old Byre was ‘home from home’ only better, everything that would make our stay comfortable and enjoyable has been thought about from the most delightful decor, the most comfortable beds, all home comforts as well as essentials, all cooking equipment and kitchen appliances and a helpful welcome basket of goodies to get you started with your first cup of tea taking in the beautiful country garden and surrounding views. The area is a perfect location with limitless places to visit within easy reach including the New Forest on your doorstep and the Jurassic coast with stunning beaches and fun days out like Longleat Safari. Whether you want family days out, full on adventure sports or quite walks and country pubs this location will suit any visitor. We would highly recommend a visit to the Old Byre, be prepared to stay longer than you planned as you won’t want to go home. Thank you Nora and Martin.
