"We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage."
It was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we could need. The area was really quiet and it’s perfect for visiting surrounding areas - Harrogate, Knaresborough, York and more. We would definitely love to come back!
-
"We had a lovely time at the cottage and didn't really want to leave."
It was so nice and comfortable and welcoming. Thank you so much. I think we will be back but extend our stay for a longer period next time. Area nice for short walks and 9 miles to Harrogate so only a short drive.
-
"3 generations staying and everyone was very comfortable."
The location is very convenient for days out to a variety of beautiful villages and many of Yorkshire’s bigger attractions. We had so many excellent pub meals there was no need to cook, so didn’t get to use the great oven/hob provided.

"We stayed at the cottage as it was very convenient whilst we were exhibiting at the Harrogate Convention Centre, It was so nice to come back to a warm homely cottage after a long day in Harrogate."
The cottage was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable, there were 5 adults and an 8 month old baby in our group, lots of toys for the baby who was kept well entertained. the cottage was in a very peaceful location and managed to see a barn owl in the field opposite. Any questions we had were promptly answered by Michelle. would certainly recommend the cottage and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if in the area again.

"Good place, good value, cosy rooms, off street parking."
Yep, we were quite happy with the place. Owner seems friendly too. We go aware to cottages a few times a year and these were the comfiest beds we've been in since I can remember. Nidderdale lovely as ever. Would happily consider staying here again.

"Lovely, spacious cottage with everything we needed."
Small touches make you feel very welcome from arrival. Friendly hosts. I always struggle with beds when away but they were really comfy too. Ground floor bedroom ideal for those with limited mobilities. Beautiful views and very quiet. Can see the sun set in the evening on sunny days. Plenty of outdoor space to play games with even the biggest kids. Hosts leave a large selection of toys suitable for younger children too. Home from home. A good central point for travel in various directions. Would recommend to anyone.

"Really nice cottage."
Pleasant and approachable owners who live next door. Cottage is spacious and all rooms had good decor. Felt like a true home from home. The view is breathtaking. It's just 180 degrees of greenery and hills. Very relaxing.

"An excellent property."
We cannot fault it. The decor was of a high standard, it was exceptionally well stocked, plenty of space for seven of us, friendly, helpful hosts and a brilliant location for visiting Harrogate, Knaresborough and North Yorkshire. You will have a great, worry-free week here.

"Last minute mini break and we couldn't have asked for a better cottage or location."
With teens it was fab to have so much space and tvs in all the bedrooms, you can also see how well the cottage is kitted out should we have had younger children/toddlers/babies. There is a separate WC which we worked out from the pics but the listing should state this as I know it would be important to some. You could easily stay and just chill at the cottage in the fabulous surroundings and location or it's perfectly placed for getting out and about in the region. We would highly recommend and would return.

"We really enjoyed our stay the rooms and kitchen were really tidy and clean."
However we all did try to connect to wifi but did not work and for 7 people we did need more toilet paper and the shower which was mentioned to us was temperamental. On the whole we all enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you for your feedback. We will take onboard what you have said and look to make improvements going forward, kind regards Sykes Cottages! Property Owner
