Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery
In addition to its Accredited Museum status, Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery hosts a permanent exhibition highlighting 10,000 years of local history.
The museum was selected as the winner of the Family Friendly Museum Award 2021. The national award is given by Kids in Museums every year to a museum, gallery, historic home or heritage site in the UK that offers exceptional family experiences.
The Gallery hosts exhibitions showcasing art, textiles, and history. Located in a Grade II listed former church in the medieval market town of Alnwick, this People’s Museum celebrates and preserves local heritage.
Located in the Castle Quarter close to the Bailiffgate entrance to Alnwick Castle, free parking is available on the street outside the hotel and nearby parking lots and buses are easily accessible.
