Situated within the old Methodist Chapel, the Staithes Heritage Centre and Captain Cook Museum offers an insightful look into Cook’s time in Staithes.
Here, you will find a 1745 life-size street scene where you can discover the families, heritage, fishing and Cook prints. However, the real treasure of this museum are the 61 original Webber engravings from Cook’s third voyage.
