Hafod Eryri – Snowdon Summit Visitor Centre
– The visitor Centre will remain closed until 2023 –
Snowdon Summit Visitor Centre is the UK’s highest visitor centre, which opened in June 2009. Also known as Hafod Eryri, this Snowdonia attraction greets around half a million visitors per year. Including visitors arriving by foot or on the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
The unique building was built to withstand the turbulent mountain weather conditions, whilst cleverly blending into the natural surroundings.
After the trek up the mountain, you can browse the gift shop, which has a range of keepsakes. Alternatively, visit the cafe that sells refreshments and snacks before soaking up the panoramic reviews of the valley below.
On a clear day, glimpses of Ireland can be seen!
