Silverknowes Beach
You can find this stunning beach just over five miles from the city centre, on the North West coast. A wonderful location for a family excursion, Silverknowes Beach is home to an array of facilities and near many more.
The beach is close to two car parks and public toilets, allowing you to maximise your stay.
The beach’s sands are three miles in length and back onto a winding promenade. Here, you can enjoy walking your canine companion past those lovely vistas of the North Sea and Cramond Island.
If it’s a sunny day, why not kick back and unwind on the golden sands or go for a paddle? Remember to be careful, though, as Silverknowes Beach isn’t lifeguarded!
The beach backs onto a popular golf course, where you can enjoy a round of putting with sea views! Alternatively, you can unwind with a bite to eat at the beach’s coffee shop, the Boardwalk Beach Club.
