Flamingo Land Resort
This vibrant attraction sits on the southern fringes of Pickering. The resort comprises an extensive 375 acres and contains a zoo, theme park and a resort.
The attraction has been entertaining visitors since 1959, and it was named The Yorkshire Zoological Gardens. In 1974, it became Flamingo Land Resort, with its name deriving from its first animal colony on the site!
During your visit, be sure to check out the theme park, where a wealth of rides are available. Daring members of the group can venture to the thrill rides. A highlight has to be Mumbo Jumbo, with its 112-degree vertical drop!
There are a range of family-friendly rides at Flamingo Land Resort to experience, too. From the Muddy Duck Tractor Ride to the array of dinosaur-themed rides, there’s plenty for the little ones to enjoy!
Afterward, take a break from the exhilarating roller coasters and tour the zoo. There are over 1,000 animals living here, from African lions to tortoises!
The zoo is home to a range of entertaining events, including daily shows. You and the kids can enjoy watching sea lions and birds have a ball with the keepers!
If you want to get a more hands-on experience, the zoo offers keeper talks and encounters for an extra fee. One experience even lets you become a zookeeper for the day!
Create everlasting memories at this terrific resort…
