Pelynt and the St West Looe Valley
The walk descends via a lane from Pelynt and a footpath leads into the woods, follow the tributary of the West Looe River to the point where it joins the main river.
Follow the path downriver from Sowden’s Bridge through the woods of the West Looe Valley to reach a river crossing. Continue the route to St Nun’s Well and circle back along country lanes to get back to Pelynt.
During the walk, visitors can spot damselflies and butterflies along with bluebells and wild garlic in Spring and diverse fungi in the autumn.
