PK Porthcurno is a museum dedicated to exploring the fascinating history of our connected world. Here visitors can discover the story of how a tranquil valley in Cornwall became essential in communications technology today.
From the discovery of electricity and Morse code through to fibre optics, PK Porthcurno combines historic tales with scientific discovery. Original equipment is on display and museum staff are on-hand at regular intervals throughout the day to demonstrate and explain how each item works.
After a day of learning and discovery, why not indulge in a sustainable treat at the café? Food suppliers have been selected for their eco credentials and quality produce and the menu includes Cornish pasties and cakes made from local ingredients.
