Polly Joke Beach
Polly Joke, or Porth Joke as it is also known, is a deep cove between headlands providing an oasis away from the busy Newquay beaches.
The beach is deep and narrow and backs onto a shallow valley with a stream running through it. There is plenty of sand to explore at low tide along with rock pools and caves.
The nearest carpark is a lengthy walk away but worth the effort for the peace and tranquillity of this often-overlooked cove.
