Kit Hill
Kit Hill Country Park is situated on the highest point of the Tamar Valley and boasts an array of plant and animal life along with the remnants of important archaeological sites. The area houses a Neolithic long barrow as well as 19th-century mining remains, along with 1000s of other archaeological remains.
There are a network of footpaths and horse trails to follow here as well as plenty of bird-watching opportunities and windy spots ideal for kite flying. At the summit, three viewing tables help visitors to identify the features dotted along the surrounding countryside.
