Truro and the Old Newham Railway
Starting at the river, travellers will head to the Newham quays, the former export hub for dynamite. After that, you’ll be following a trail that runs beside the reclaimed Newham railway bed, which has been taken over by native animals.
After the train emerges beside County Hall, pedestrians can approach the heart of the city by route of Chapel Hill and Victoria Gardens.
The route takes you past the Royal Cornwall Museum and the cathedral before bringing you back to the centre of town at the piazza.
Venture out on this stunning walk on a trip to Truro…
