Grove Park Theatre
If you love all things theatre, come and see the fantastic shows at Grove Park Theatre in Wrexham! The volunteer-run theatre hosts an array of amateur productions, from musicals and pantomimes to costume plays and thrillers.
The Grove Park Theatre came to be in 1925, when the society of Grove Park Old Boys’ Amateur Dramatic Society formed. The theatre group moved into the theatre’s building in 1954; the rest was history!
Nowadays, the theatre plays host to approximately eight productions per year, all of which enjoy different genres. There’s something for everyone here!
The Grove Park Theatre also houses a youth theatre, and has done since 1970. Young people aged between 10-18 can come here and try their hand at acting or partake in technical work.
The youth theatre meets twice per week, with the work in the sessions contributing to an annual production.
