Park in the Past
This former Welsh quarry, located on the outskirts of Wrexham, encompasses 120 acres of natural splendour, including woodlands, marshes, open fields, a stunning 35-acre lake, and the lovely River Alyn.
With an intriguing and unique historical and conservation initiative, the project seeks to transport you back in time to when the Romans arrived in North Wales.
Cross the river and go towards the lake for a circular walk, which offers stunning views of both the lake and the surrounding countryside. Or, if you’re feeling bold, try a nearby water activity.
