Marine Lake Rhyl
Marine Lake Rhyl was transformed from marshland in 1895 and developed as a Victorian fun fair with water slides and traditional rides.
In 1911 a miniature railway circling the lake opened and is now run by the Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust.
Today, the site is a haven for wildlife and boasts a 1.5km circular route of the lake across a newly tarmacked path. So, whether you fancy viewing the lake from a steam train, walking around it or even stopping for a picnic, Marine Lake Rhyl is more than worth a look.
Marine Lake Rhyl is a delightful spot…
