  3. Boathouse Wood Car Park: Continue your hike along the northern banks of Bolam Lake, taking in the refreshing waterside views. You’ll soon come across the Boathouse Wood Car Park, a perfect pit stop for refuelling.
  4. Picnic and Facilities: Adjacent to the car park, discover a delightful picnic area and facilities, an idyllic base to pause, grab a bite to eat and take advantage of the toilet facilities.
  5. Shaftoe Crags Marvel: Arriving at Shaftoe Crags, take the time to savour the spectacular views.
  6. Return to Bolam Lake: Finally, make your way back to the car park by Bolam Lake, completing your memorable 13.7-kilometre journey through Northumberland’s enchanting landscape.
