Travel to Cornwall by coach
If you’re wondering how to get to Cornwall by road but do not wish to drive, we recommend booking a seat on a National Express coach to Newquay. This route begins at London Victoria Coach Station, then travels along the M5, stopping at eight stops in Devon along the way, such as Exeter’s and Plymouth’s coach stations.
The journey distance is approximately 449 km, taking just over seven hours. You can take two different coaches to reach your Cornwall destination; choose between the 406, which travels once per day and the 504, which travels two times per day.
If you’re travelling to Cornwall for a large get-together or event, the National Express also offers private coach hire. Ideal for special occasions and events!
