Travel to Ashbourne by road
Those travelling from London or the South will need to drive up the M1 and then take the A52 at Derby all the way to Ashbourne. Those arriving from the North can also arrive via the M1 and again change to the A52 at Derby.

Travel to Ashbourne by train
Travelling by train is a scenic option which includes some rail travel though the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Trains from London to Ashbourne take just two and a half hours while trains from Derby take just over an hour. From most other major cities, such as Birmingham or Manchester, rail travel involves at least one change, making car travel a faster option.

Travel to Ashbourne by plane
You are able to fly to Ashbourne from various locations across the UK and Ireland to East Midlands Airport, which is a 40-minute drive away. Air travel can be a quicker option for those travelling from Ireland or Scotland although from much of England and Wales it’s simpler and faster to drive, thanks to the M1.
