Travel to Tenby by road
Tenby is just off the A477, which is easily reached by following the M4 from the South. Continue on it when it becomes the A48. A short distance on the A40 around Carmarthen brings you to the A477, take the junction for the A478 and then to Tenby.
From the North, take the A40 at the north of the Brecon Beacons, which will take you to Carmarthen, and follow the A478 and A477.

Travel to Tenby by train
Tenby has a historic railway station, served by Arriva Trains Wales and the Great Western Railway. This station is unmanned, so buy your ticket from the station’s machine, or purchase tickets prior to travelling.
Trains to Tenby from London Paddington will take you to Swansea or Carmarthen, where you can change for the Tenby line. Trains from Birmingham and Bristol take you to Newport, where you can change for the Tenby line.

Travel to Tenby by plane
While there is an airport at Haverfordwest, it is very small and caters predominantly for pleasure flights over the coast.
The nearest international airport is in Cardiff, which welcomes passengers from as far away as Delhi, Melbourne, and Lima.
Onward travel is available in taxis, buses and coaches. A shuttle bus from the airport will take you to the nearest train station, or you can hire a car if you wish to drive yourself to Tenby.
