This Lake District National Park walk provides a smooth, stone and dust path surface, making it perfect for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Please note: There are a few small parts within the route where there is a steep incline.
The Tarn Hows walk is a circular route, providing a beautiful spot from which to explore the Lakes. This route is great for wildlife spotting, as well as those in pursuit of a route for running and hiking, with plenty of scenery to soak in along the way.
Tarn Hows is a beautiful spot to appreciate the Lake District, while a slight detour can also be made to see the National Trust owned Rose Castle itself.
