The latter is a 16th-century structure located on Holy Island, a tidal landmass off the coast of Berwick-upon-Tweed.  The island is also home to the ruins of Lindisfarne Priory, a medieval structure once the home of St Cuthbert.

Avid ramblers can look forward to meandering the Bamburgh to Budle Bay walk, which takes you through the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve. As well as catching a glimpse of endearing wildlife, this walk offers the opportunity to savour spectacular sunsets.
