Travelling to Betws-y-Coed by road
Travelling by road will take you on some scenic roads through North Wales. If you’re going to be travelling by car from the South of England, take the M40 and A5.
From Scotland and the Northwest of England, take the M74 in Scotland, followed by the M6 and A55 in England.
From Yorkshire, the most direct route is on the M62 then A55. You will arrive in just over two hours depending on the traffic.

Travelling to Betws-y-Coed by train
London Euston to Betws y Coed is achieved by using Virgin Trains on the West Coast Mainline. Change in Chester and Llandudno but you will get to the village in around four hours.
From Glasgow, again use Virgin Trains, changing in Warrington and Llandudno. This journey will take slightly over five hours.
Both routes run every day, departing approximately every three hours from London and Glasgow.
Travelling through North Wales provides some gorgeous views, so why not relax on the train and take it all in? The journey time will take you longer than by car, but is worth it for the spectacular views.
