From Belfast, drive along the M2 and then the A6 to both County Derry and Londonderry, the biggest city in the county. Those driving from Dublin should take the M1 and then the A6 for the final leg.

Travel to County Derry by train
Rail travel in Northern Ireland is operated by Translink who operates services within Northern Ireland as well as to and from Dublin. Those travelling from Dublin to County Derry will normally board a train to Londonderry, which takes five hours and involves a change at Belfast. Trains from Belfast to Londonderry take just over 2 hours.

Travel to County Derry by plane
You are able to fly to County Derry via the City of Derry Airport, located 7 km out of the city centre. Planes arrive at the City of Derry Airport from London Stansted, Glasgow and Liverpool.
