Croyde is a great base from which to explore the beautiful Heritage Coast of North Devon. This unspoilt, characterful village has plenty of charm and visitors will be spoilt for choice with how to spend their time.
Croyde has a Blue Flag award-winning beach, perfect for summer sunbathing or breezy winter strolls whilst admiring the pretty coast. It’s also very popular with the surfing community; the long, rolling waves provide ideal conditions for enthusiasts of the great water sport. Moving away from the coast, there are plenty of fantastic walking trails to embark upon, where you can find some of the best views in Devon, including National Trust-owned Baggy Point.
The town is sprinkled with charming, thatched cottages, a small selection of quirky shops and wonderful eateries. Croyde combines old-world charm, stunning coastline and fascinating architecture.
