Travel to Dorset by road
Dorset is a county that is easy to reach by road, no matter where in the UK you are travelling from. While Dorset itself has no motorways, the West of the county can be reached via the M5 from Bristol – perfect for those travelling from the West Country, from the North and from Wales. From the East, the M3 and M27 make the journey time from the home counties under two and a half hours – and for the most scenic route to your destination, enjoy the views from the coastal road that stretches between Bridport and Weymouth.
