Travel to Godshill by road
You can’t get to Godshill directly by car, you will need to take a ferry from Southport.
To get to Southport from the Midlands, you can take the A46, then the M1 and finally the A3. Once departed from the ferry on the Isle of Wight, continue straight on, following the A3054, then onto the A3056 and finally the A3020.

Travel to Godshill by ferry
While Southport is the most frequented ferry link, you can also take one from Southampton or Lymington.
Every day, there are over 200 crossings which operate to five island towns. These include; Cowes, Ryde, East Cowes, Fishbourne and Yarmouth.

There are rail connections to all major ferry ports, easily reached within two hours from most London stations. Many of the ferry services coincide with train times, so you won’t have to wait around.
