Travel to Knaresborough by road
If you are traveling from the North to Knaresborough take the A1 motorway before merging onto the A59 which will take you directly into the town. For those travelling from the South, travel on the A63 road to join M1 which merges onto A59.

Travelling by train is the most popular and easiest way to reach the centre of Knaresborough. Knaresborough station is located on the Harrogate Line which runs from Leeds to York, trains which are operated by Northern Rail. Travelling from Leeds via train will take you 45 minutes and from York it will take you 25 minutes.
Travel to Knaresborough by plane
To travel to Knaresborough via plane, you will arrive Leeds Bradford Airport which is situated just 24km away from the town. From here, you can catch the train to Leeds and then change to travel to Knaresborough.
