Travel to Leyburn by road
If you’re travelling to Leyburn by car from the north, take the A1, exiting at Leeming Bar (Northallerton and Bedale) and follow the signs to Leyburn. From the south, take the A1 exit at Scotch Corner and follow the signs to Richmond. From Richmond, follow the signs to Leyburn.

Travel to Leyburn by train
Travelling by train can present a much longer travel time than car. There are a number of services that run through the Yorkshire Dales, but the journey will most likely require some changes, and potentially a bus ride. However, the scenery will more than make up for this!

The Yorkshire Dales is serviced by several airports; Leeds Bradford and Durham Tees Valley are the closest. Flights can also be taken to/from Manchester and Newcastle International.
