If scenic trails and sailing opportunities are something you love, a visit to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a must! The aqueduct transports the Llangollden Canal across the River Dee and stretches over 11 miles, offering plenty to see.

The region’s slate and industrial sites have also been classed as World Heritage Sites – Wales. One of these is Dinorwic Slate Quarry which is tucked away in Snowdonia National Park, offering views, trails and access to a fantastic museum!

Conwy is another must-visit Wales World Heritage Site, housing amazing architecture, including Conwy Castle along with access to a beautiful beach. Within the same site, and further along the coast, lies Harlech Castle where you can soak up elevated views of the coast and more.
