Travel to the North Yorkshire by road
For those travelling by car, North Yorkshire is surrounded by several major roads, allowing you to holiday in the region with ease. If you are travelling from the South, take the M1 or A1, and if you are travelling from the Midlands the M6 provides links to the M62, taking you to the heart of Yorkshire. For those travelling from North Wales use the M6 and the M4 if you are coming from South Wales.

Travel to North Yorkshire by plane
Yorkshire hosts two airports offering a quicker alternative to traveling by car or train. Leeds Bradford Airport offers flights from London, Aberdeen, Belfast, Newquay, whereas Doncaster Sheffield Airport is a newly built international airport which has greatly improved journey times.
