Travel to Robin Hood’s Bay by road
If you are planning on travelling to the dramatic North Yorkshire coast by car and are travelling from the North, head towards Middlesbrough and take the A171 passing Whitby, before turning off in Hawsker and driving along the B1447. For those coming from the South, take the M1 towards Sheffield and then the A64 towards to the coast which will take you to Scarborough. From here, follow the A171 to Robin Hood’s Bay.

Travel to Robin Hood’s Bay by train
The closet train station to this small fishing village can be found within Whitby, which is situated just 5.5 miles away. From here, a streamlined bus service can take you to the centre of Robin Hood’s Bay. Catch the X93 bus which runs every hour and passes through beautiful open moorland before reaching Robin Hood’s Bay.

Leeds Bradford Airport offers direct flights from across the UK and Ireland. From here, car hire is available to take you to the village and will take approximately two hours.
