Our Sedbergh Travel Guide includes… Places to stay, things to do and how to get to Sedbergh
Nestled in the stunning setting of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Sedbergh is an attractive market town located at the foot of the Howgill Fells.
The intriguing architecture that dominates the town centre dates back to the Anglo-Saxon era. Lining the cobbled streets are a number of welcoming pubs and cafes, perfect to call in at after a rigorous day hiking or cycling the Dales. A short distance away from the town centre is the Cautley Spout Waterfall. The beautiful feature, which is England’s highest waterfall above ground at 650 feet, can be accessed via one of many walking trails in the area.
The area also has a family fun attraction in the form of Holme Farm. This working farm is open to visitors who are encouraged to come and engage with the many animals.
