From the South of England, you can connect Snowdonia’s mountains and coast via the same motorway connections – M6, M5, and M1.
For a greener approach, you can even hop on a bus from Llandudno to Snowdonia and Bangor to Snowdonia!

Travel by train to Snowdonia
Is your preferred method of travel a train to Snowdonia? From most regions of the United Kingdom, direct services connect you to the popular North Wales coastal resorts via a range of Snowdonia railway routes.
Make inland connections to Betws-y-Coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog via the Conwy Valley Line, which travels through the Snowdonia National Park. The Cambrian Line connects services from the Midlands via Shrewsbury and Machynlleth. You will also find direct trains from Cardiff to Snowdonia which take you through stunning landscapes.

The closest and most accessible airports to Snowdonia are scattered around the North West at Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.
