Travel to Ulverston by road
Ulverston is located approximately 30 minutes by car from junction 36 of the M6 motorway. This makes it accessible from major cities across the UK, including Glasgow, Manchester and London. After leaving the motorway, take the A590 and follow signs towards Barrow-in-Furness. The road will take you right through Ulverston.

Travelling to Ulverston by rail
Ulverston has its own railway station with services to and from Lancaster. It’s possible to change here for services up and down the West Coast Main Line to London, Manchester, Birmingham and other cities.
Trains on the line run once an hour Monday to Saturday and once every two hours on Sunday. Recent improvements mean that there are now eight trains a day running directly to Manchester.
