Travel to Warkworth by road
Warkworth is well-served by the A1068 coast road, join it directly from the A1 if you’re coming from the North. From the South, follow the A1 around Newcastle and take the A19 and A189 until it merges with the A1068.

Travel to Warkworth by train
The nearest stations to Warkworth are Alnmouth to the north and Acklington to the south. Acklington, on the East Coast Mainline, does not operate on Sundays.
Alnmouth is better-served, with Cross Country and Virgin Trains stopping there. Catch a direct train from Kings Cross in London, taking around four hours. The train to Warkworth from Edinburgh will take about an hour. From Newcastle it will take half an hour. From Alnmouth Station, you’re a 10-minute car ride to Warkworth.
