Experience More on your next Holiday in Looe
Our Looe Travel Guide includes… Places to stay, things to do and how to get to Looe
The fishing port of Looe in Cornwall’s south east is a fabulous coastal escape. The town is separated in two halves by the River Looe, which runs right through the centre and during medieval times, these halves were two separate settlements.
The harbour is the true hub of the town; flock to enjoy the boats returning to the quay of an evening, enjoy freshly-caught, award-winning fish at one of the local restaurants and sink your toes into the golden sand of one of its many beaches, including Hannafore and Looe Beach.
Wildlife lovers will appreciate Looe Island’s nature reserve and the Monkey Sanctuary is a great day out for families. For walking enthusiasts, there are miles of fantastic trails to wander, including Kilminorth Woods, West Looe Valley and the South West Coast Path.
