Amgueddfa Llandudno Museum
Learn the story of the popular seaside resort of Llandudno through Llandudno Museum and Art Gallery’s fascinating collection.
You’ll go back as far as 340 million years with the help of the over 9000 artefacts kept here. The collection includes roman artefacts, a Neolithic skeleton, prehistoric tools, and copper from the Great Orme Mines.
The museum covers everything from the prehistoric period to the current day. Llandudno Museum and Art Gallery is also home to the Llandudno and Colwyn Bay District Field Club collection.
The club, founded in 1906, promoted the study of natural sciences and archaeology in the area. Items from their collection include a 19th-century Hawksbill stuffed turtle, a framed tropical catopsilia yellow butterfly and a British gold stater coin from 100 BC.
