Bala Lake Railway
Journey through the stunning Snowdonia National Park on the Bala Lake Railway. The one-hour ride will take you through Dolfawr Bank, Pentrepiod Halt, Glan Llyn Flag Halt, Llangower, Lakeside Embankment and Boathouse Bridge.
The Bala Lake is the largest natural body of water in Wales at 1,084 acres and is a water sports hotspot. The lake is also home to herons and buzzards which can be spotted by eagle-eyed passengers.
As you step onto a steam locomotive from the old-style station building, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. Don’t forget to pick up a snack and some souvenirs from the café and gift shop after your journey!
