Brickfield Pond
Wander around Brickfield Pond in west Rhyl, a nature reserve sitting on the site of an old clay pit.
Spanning nearly nine acres with depths of over 20ft and is home to carp, bream, pike, tench, eels, roach, perch, rudd and ruffe.
Brickfield Angling Club control fishing on the pond and tickets can be brought through them. Those simply wishing to take a walk and spot wildlife can expect to see ducks, mallards, mute swans, and moorhens. Less commonly seen are kingfisher, grey heron, and sand martin.
Dogs are welcome at Brickfield Pond.
