Carn Galver Engine House
Situated at Zennor beside St Ives to St Just coastal road, are the remains of Carn Galver Mine. Easy to reach thanks to their proximity to the road, visitors can easily view and photograph the ruins.
The remains of the engine houses give visitors a glimpse into the early 19th-century tin mining industry and how it played a vital role in transforming our way of life. Now owned by the National Trust, the site is well preserved for visitors, despite its position near the cliff edge and difficult weather conditions.
Carn Galver Engine House is a great attraction in Cornwall…
