Churchtown Farm
Churchtown Farm has a rich history of quarrying, farming and maritime activities, with the fields intensively managed in the 1960s. Since then, Cornwall Wildlife Trust has taken a less intensive approach, creating a habitat for a wide variety of wildlife in the meadows, arable fields, woodland, wetland, hedgerows and rocky shoreline.
From the reserve, there are spectacular views over the River Lyhner, Antony Passage, Forder Creek, the River Tamar and beyond to Devonport and Plymouth. Dogs are welcome and there are footpaths across the reserve although these can become slippery in wet weather.
