Gifted to the citizens of Truro in 1977 to celebrate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee and the Centenary of the City of Truro, this 18-acre former water meadow offers city goers an oasis of calm and tranquillity, right on the doorstep.
The land maintains a diverse range of habitats for wildlife including a stream, flower-rich wetlands, wildflower meadows and Cornish hedges. To the west is the River Allen where mayfly nymphs, stonefly nymphs and freshwater shrimps can be found.
